Asphalt driveway repair is a process of repairing a broken driveway to restore it to serviceability, with the following major steps:
Inspection and assessment: view the driveway to clarify cracks, potholes, rutting damage, degree and extent.
Clean up the site: Sweep the driveway, remove debris and dust, and set up warning signs around the repair area to ensure construction safety.
Repair cracks: according to the width of the cracks, use crack router to open slots or directly clean up and fill in the asphalt sealant and other materials.
Handle potholes: dig out loose material in potholes, clean it up, lay gravel and other base materials for compaction, and then fill with hot-mix asphalt mixture and compaction.
Rectification of rutting: use asphalt milling machine to mill off the surface of the rutting asphalt layer, cleaned up and paved with hot mix asphalt mixture, compacted to make flush with the surrounding road surface.
Surface treatment: can be in the repair area or the entire lane surface sealing treatment, such as emulsified asphalt and other materials to enhance the performance of the pavement; if the marking line is damaged, need to be redrawn.
