Recently, our city's road maintenance team conducted pavement maintenance skills training. During this event, our company's Truck mounted asphalt recycler played an important role.
For various asphalt pavement diseases such as potholes, alligator cracks, and rut in the municipal road and highway, our asphalt recycler can effectively and conveniently deal with them, as it is not limited by weather changes and the opening time of asphalt mixing plant. It can work all year round and at any time, which greatly improves the convenience of road maintenance.
Our truck mounted asphalt recycler is composed of asphalt recycling drum, automatic feeding system, discharging system, emulsified asphalt sprayer and power output unit, which can be used to mix, heat, recycle and thermal insulate asphalt mixture or recycled asphalt product(RAP) to realize Rapid repair of pavement diseases.
In this pavement maintenance skills training activity, our workers first measured and cut the diseased pavement, and then broked the diseased area. The crushed waste asphalt blocks are collected and put into the asphalt recycler to heat and mixe with hot asphalt for reuse.
While the asphalt recycler heating, the workers clean up the crushed area and spray the pothole with emulsified asphalt integrated in the equipment, which can make the hot mixture used for repairing and the lower layer of the pavement in the pothole bond stronger.
After the hot asphalt mixture is heated to a suitable temperature, it is directly poured into the pit through the discharge port, and then the workers will spread the hot asphalt mixture and compact it.
